Finalist for a DPAC Award, and lonely no more

Our Grilled and Lonely campaign for Bush’s Best Foodservice has been named as a finalist in the upcoming Digital Publishing and Advertising Awards.

We’re proud as hell our online dating service for grilled meat is getting a little recognition, and equally as thankful we’ve got a smart, trusting client who lets us do these sorts of admittedly crazy things.

A big part of Grilled and Lonely is also how we connected to operators to promote the site. In addition to traditional print and online ads, we also launched Mr. Lonely Grill on Twitter (@mr_lonely_grill), a daily dose of relationship advice for grilled meats. Mr. Lonely Grill let us promote the site but also connect one-on-one with operators and foodservice pros, building conversations and relationships that are going strong to this day.

Friend of Marlin, Animax, is also a DPAC Finalist for their hilarious work on SLOTCARS for Carl’s Jr. (Animax recently created fantastic animation work for us for Seattle’s Best Coffee. Thanks, Animaxians!)
